The rules that apply when you buy from Case Cover. Plain wording, no traps.

Who you are buying from

Case Cover, trading from 6000 College Dr, Suffolk, VA 23435, United States. Placing an order means you accept these terms.

Orders

An order is an offer to buy. The contract starts when we send you a shipping confirmation, not when you click the button. Until then we can decline an order and refund you in full. That would only happen if an item has sold out, if a price on the page was wrong, or if we cannot verify the payment or the address.

Telling us your phone model

Cases are sold by fit. You are responsible for telling us the correct model at checkout. If you give us the wrong one we will still swap the case, but the thirty day window runs from the original delivery, not from the swap.

Prices

Prices are in United States dollars and shown on each product page. Sales tax is added at checkout where we are required to collect it. Shipping is calculated at checkout and shown before you pay.

We can change prices at any time but never after you have placed an order. If a price is obviously wrong, for example a wholesale pack listed at three dollars, we can cancel and refund rather than honour it.

Stock

Stock numbers are kept current, but two people can reach the last unit at the same moment. If that happens we contact you within one working day and offer a wait, a different item or a full refund.

Descriptions and photographs

We describe every item as accurately as we can, including the drop test height and the weight. Colours vary between screens, and leather in particular changes shade as it ages, so treat photographs as a good guide rather than an exact match.

What a drop rating means

A tested height is the height we dropped the case from onto concrete in our own testing, on a phone of the size it is made for. It is not a guarantee. A phone can still break inside a case if it lands on an edge, falls further, lands on a stone, or is already cracked. No case makes a phone unbreakable and we do not claim one does.

Our liability

If we get something wrong we will put it right by replacing or refunding the item. Beyond that, our liability is limited to what you paid for the order. We are not liable for damage to the phone itself, for lost data, for the cost of a repair, or for any indirect loss.

Nothing here removes rights you have under United States consumer law that cannot be removed by agreement.

Using the site

The text, photographs, logo and layout belong to Case Cover or are used with permission. You may not copy them for another business. Do not attempt to break into the site, scrape it in bulk, or interfere with how it runs for other people.

Phone brand names are used on this site only to describe which handsets a case fits. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any phone manufacturer.

Accounts

If you create an account, keep the password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under it. Tell us if you think someone else has got in and we will lock it.

Wholesale orders

Cases bought in packs of twelve or more may be resold. You may not present them as your own brand, and you may not repeat our drop test figures as your own testing. Quantities, prices and the model mix on a wholesale order are agreed per order and are not a standing arrangement unless we put one in writing.

Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays caused by things we cannot control, including severe weather, carrier strikes, power failures and acts of government. If such a delay runs past thirty days you can cancel the affected part of the order for a full refund.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any dispute that cannot be settled between us goes to the courts of the City of Suffolk, Virginia.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the day you placed it. Changes are never applied backwards to an order already made.
